Cökxpôn is a fictitious patisserie cum motel depicted in the fantasy world called Na'Conxypan conceived by painter, writer Lajos Gulácsy (1882-1932). To enrich the landscapes he envisioned, Gulácsy would often complement his work with stories considered to be written renditions of his art - phantasms of words transforming, as if they were made of paint, into shades, shapes, scents and sighs.
Lajos Gulácsy (1882-1932) primarily a painter, but he created a complete world integrated writings and stories to the visual arts. Writings are about the same as the pictures, the words are mirages too - as they turn into colors, shapes, scents, and sighs, as if it's material would be also paints.
One evening at the Cökxpôn - " The cheerful citizens of the more cheerful town are gathering. The daughters of Na'Conxpan, blondie miracles all came to the patisserie this evening. Motley groups are band togother between the cake houses. The little girls looked like wooden dolls, in their wide mill wheel sized skirts, which was painted with oil. The gavars of Na'Conxypan looked like porcelain shaped trinkets, in their towering stovepipe hat and bunckled shoes as they smoked their sweet bros cigarillos. The confectioner kids brought great Christmas cakes since the memory of time. A blested pleasure erotic smile is dancing around the filigree creamsalon. Piripiri Prince stokes up his mouth with a lot of candy. Nibbles quietly. Outside everything take up blue, it's twilight. Dawn of Na'Conxypan. Smaragd stripes run through the bottom of the sky. Piripiri Prince slumbers on the velvet divan, stretched, in the cheerful café of aunty Bolboll." (Excerpts from writings of Gulácsy)
